I have had many sightings of these magical birds, from the banks of the River Avon, soaring overhead when I have been kayaking along the water, to the dramatic coastline of the Wild Atlantic Way. Grey Herons are relatively common birds in the U.K. Tall and solitary, they are often found standing in the shallows of different waterways watching for fish. They also hunt small mammals and waterbirds!

This piece can be framed and mounted after purchase to present it to its full advantage while also tying it to the style of your home. It will be posted unframed in a clear plastic sleeve, reinforced with cardboard backing to protect the drawing from damage. I have taken every effort to depict my work accurately in these images in different lights, however variation from photograph to reality is often unavoidable - generally with the original looking brighter and clearer than photographs depict.
