Dunnock

Dunnock

£150.00

‘Dunnock’, detailed pencil drawing on paper, original unframed 29x39cm, £150.

This original piece depicts one of Britain’s small perching birds. The dunnock is a shy brown bird, which can often be seen scuttling about the garden when it thinks the coast is clear. It moves in a dainty crouch, and never strays far away from cover. Dunnocks have a delicate plumage of browns and greys, with orange pink legs, and they lay vibrant blue eggs.

This drawing is framed and mounted to show the feathers and minute details of this lovely bird off to its full advantage, but can be purchased without the frame if you prefer. Posted framed or unframed in a clear plastic sleeve, reinforced with cardboard backing to protect the drawing from damage. If purchasing framed please put a comment on your order or email me at amyclarkeart@gmail.com.

10% of the sale of this piece is donated to the RSPB to protect wild habitats of birds and to support their conservation work in wildlife reserves across the U.K.

I have taken every effort to depict my work accurately in these images in different lights, however variation from photograph to reality is often unavoidable - generally with the original looking brighter and clearer than photographs depict. If you are concerned about image variation I would advise looking at images carefully across different devices before purchasing.
