Oil on canvas. This landscape painting of a golden sunset was inspired by an evening walk along the boardwalk at Cuan Na Ri in Donegal in Ireland. This same evening also inspired the painting ‘On the Boardwalk at Cuan Na Ri’. The light was incredible, glowing over the mountains and sparkling on the water and it was deeply inspiring. I wanted this painting to feel full of the peace and promise of that evening, to appear like a magical landscape like something from a dream or a fantasy and to inspire walkers and adventurers as they look on it in the home. Sized to make a lovely addition to a dining room, living room, bedroom or other large wall that is in need of a focal piece of art that tells a story.
