This is a painting of a dramatic sky from my imagination, built off of a couple of reference photos of beaches I have visited in the UK and then elaborated upon. It depicts a woman gazing off into the sunset over the beach. The palette is a bright array of blues, pinks, reds and ochres, creating a colourful and magical scene that would blend in well with many decor schemes. I wanted this landscape painting to contain the feeling of adventure and possibility, of hope and of strength as well.
